Talk about amateur. I took these pictures using a 2" refractor and a projection screen using my Kodak camera. The two pictures that were taken of the sun without the projection screen were shot with the same camera about 30 degrees out of the line of the suns rays to mask the light a little. That's why you see the sun as a kind of blob rather than a disk. I thought I'd try it. It worked. By the time the next transit happens, I'll have added a H-alpha filter to the collection and hopefully a 16" LX-200!
